About Atlantic Indoor Association
Atlantic Indoor Association (AIA), founded in 1994, is a non-profit arts organization whose mission is to support and benefit organizations which engage in or support youth activities in the performing arts — including elements of music, choreography, and theatre in color guard, percussion, and winds units.
In 2015, AIA reorganized into two regions: AIA North and AIA South. AIA facilitates competitions throughout Virginia and North Carolina and currently serves over 200 member units.

AIA awards scholarships annually to students who demonstrate academic excellence, school and community involvement, and a passion for the performing arts.

AIA Executive Board
AIA is operated year-round by a team of dedicated volunteers with no full-time staff. The organization operates under the leadership of the Executive Board of Directors, elected by region by the general membership.
