Event Registration
Once your unit's AIA membership is complete, sign up for your regular-season events and championships right in CompetitionSuite. Event registration for AIA members opens December 1st.

Register for an Event

Log into your CompetitionSuite account.

Click Event Registration under the group you'd like to register. Note: if you don't see Event Registration listed, you're not an administrator for the group — you'll need an administrator to register for the group.

Click Register next to the events you'd like to attend. If an event is full, you can join the Waitlist.

If your organization is charging an event fee, you'll be asked to provide a credit card number.
Event Registration Close Dates
All event registration closes four Fridays prior to the event. If you need to change your registration before the close date, you can do this yourself in CompetitionSuite.

⚠ These close dates are calculated using the same four-Fridays-prior pattern as previous seasons, based on the event dates from the 2027 Tentative Schedule. Please verify against the official schedule once it's finalized before publishing.
If an event's registration period has closed and you need to be added to or removed from that event, you must contact your Regional President and Contest Coordinator. A late addition or withdrawal after the close date results in a $150 penalty fee that must be paid before competing. Any paid event registration fees are forfeited for a withdrawal after the close date. Canceling your registration does not refund event fees — contact AIA directly for any applicable refunds.
How Does the Waitlist Work?
The Waitlist allows groups to register for an event that is full. CompetitionSuite tracks the order in which groups register for an event — if a registered group cancels, they lose their spot and the first Waitlisted group is promoted into the event. This process repeats each time a group cancels.
